The kitchen is the heart of Toutes Saisons; here guests gather year round to watch Phil prepare their feasts.
We pride ourselves on serving full hot breakfasts according to our guests' wishes.
If Phil is in the kitchen it's banana bread baking in the oven
and omelettes
firming on the stove. Guests choose the ingredients for their
own omelettes
and watch Phil whisk them a taste treat. The current favourite
is Phil's
seafood omelette, three fresh eggs from the neighbour's hens,
a full scoop
of tiny sweet shrimp and fresh Chaleur scallops along with Phil's
secret
ingredients and the diner's choice of peppers and onions. It's
OK to watch
over the kitchen counter. There's no label on the containers
to divulge his
secret ingredients. Simply enjoy!
Other omelette choices are The Western with large chunks of Virginia
sweet ham
and The Greek with local feta cheese, fresh parsley and oregano.
Guests with
a sweet tooth prefer the plate filled with Pain doré; the "golden
bread'
also called french toast is served with local maple syrup.
All breakfasts include a choice of juices, coffees, teas and four
home made*
fruit delights (pectin-free jam) and, of course, Phil's fresh
banana bread.
*The fruit delights are home made but not in this home . . . Phil has
the fun of picking wild strawberries raspberries and blueberries.
A neighbour prepares the delights.
