When was the last time you really looked at the stars? Not as an astronaut! But simply when you could be in awe of the universe and marvel as millions of stars shine on you?
Light pollution is everywhere; traffic lights, security lights, billboard lights   . You could journey to a far off place and climb a tree to see the big sky or you can book your stay with us.
From our spot on the very edge of Bay of Chaleur you can chose many seats to take time to watch the stars. We will even give you the star chart for that night’s sky.
Some guests choose to stretch out near the waves; others put their feet up on the railing of their private balcony.  A telescope is available.
We suggest you choose your dates of stay with us according to the cycles of the moon.  To see more stars choose nights when the moon will be just a slice.  For a breathtaking experience see the full moon rise over Chaleur in the months of August, September and October.
